Susie Plascencia is the co-founder of Mota Glass and a former brand partner of Humo, a cannabis flower brand. The Latina entrepreneur details how she started her brands with a simple mission. She wants to elevate people of color’s voices and create more opportunities in the cannabis business for BIWOC.

Also, she shares her thoughts on the intentionally weaponized language used in the racist War on Drugs: “Marijuana is a Spanish word.” Keep scrolling to the bottom to listen to episode 185 of the Blunt Blowin’ Mama podcast!

Meet Susie

She’s a college-educated PR professional with a master’s degree. And she decided to put her skills to work in the cannabis industry.

Susie is paving the way for more Latinos to enter the cannabis industry while breaking the stigmas around the plant in her community. She wants people of color to not be left behind as this billion-dollar industry expands and goes mainstream.

Plus, hear Shonitria’s take on how a Mota Glass bong rips. Shonitria had to rip a bowl with the one Susie gifted to her live on the podcast. You definitely want to watch this moment right here on YouTube!
