Inner child healing is a major key to navigating not only adulthood but motherhood, too.

Cynthia Perez, LCSW, joins the Blunt Blowin’ Mama podcast to discuss postpartum, inner child healing, ancestral trauma and how cannabis can help. Shonitria also shares her own experiences with postpartum fog after giving birth to her son. She gets real about realizing she needed to change her attitude towards men because she’s now raising a son.

The ladies also get into healing ancestral trauma and how to honor your inner child.

One tip: Create an alter! Then fill it with all your favorite childhood items as a reminder to honor the little version of you.

It was really important to have a licensed mental health professional on the podcast and Cynthia has over 15 years in community mental health. We discuss postpartum, the fog that often comes with it and why mamas should give themselves more grace, love, and tenderness during this time.
